Bradenton -- Lakewood Ranch High School's first state champion in cross country will run against the best in the country next week. Junior Olivia Ortiz, 16, placed fifth in the South Regional Foot Locker Cross Country Championships to earn a spot in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships National Finals on Dec. 10.
